What is CONNECT TAIWAN?

CONNECT TAIWAN is an organization which aims to provide a platform to allow capital, entrepreneurs, techniques, and ideas to connect and benefit each other.

How long has CONNECT TAIWAN been around?
CONNECT TAIWAN has existed since 2006.

Is CONNECT TAIWAN linked to other similar international organizations?
Yes. CONNECT TAIWAN has strong ties with CONNECT organizations around the globe. While CONNECT TAIWAN is focused on Taiwan, it has an association with many contacts in Asia and other key global markets.

How is CONNECT TAIWAN different from other CONNECT organizations around the world?
CONNECT TAIWAN is specifically focused on connecting Taiwanese entrepreneurs, Taiwanese companies, or Taiwanese venture capitalists with knowledge and capital.

What are the requirements for becoming a member of CONNECT TAIWAN?
Any person, company, or association may apply for membership with CONNECT TAIWAN. There are no qualifications required. CONNECT TAIWAN simply provides a physical platform for parties with similar knowledge and capital interests and needs to meet one another.

Do I have to be Taiwanese to become a member？
No. CONNECT TAIWAN is an open organization for everyone and anyone. You do not have to be a resident of Taiwan, let alone Taiwanese.

Can I be a member of CONNECT TAIWAN and another CONNECT organization at the same time?
Yes. Some of our members are also members of other international organizations.

When are CONNECT TAIWAN gatherings?

Are gatherings and events always held in Taiwan?

As of now, yes. Events and gatherings are held in different cities, depending on the subject. CONNECT TAIWAN hosts events across Taiwan in Taipei, Hsinchu, Kaohsiung, Tainan, Taichung or anywhere else that is appropriate to the event.

If I want to host an event, how do I do so?
You can apply to host an event by contacting us via the direct feedback form online. A representative will contact you to set up a meeting.

If I want to attend an event, do I need to register or can I simply arrive at the event?
We suggest that you contact us first via the online feedback form, and let us know which event you wish to attend in order to ensure that a place is reserved for you.
